Natura Increases Prices

Natura is one of the best pet food manufactures in the United States, if not the best. An email was just sent out informing retailers of an upcoming price increase. As a consumer, you can expect to see a price increase on many of their products starting the middle of February. The price increase varies by brand and size, and not all of their products will be affected.
In Natura's defense they were one of the few companies not to pass a price increase on to their customers in 2008. This doesn’t make the increases any easier on you the consumer, but these increases will allow Natura the opportunity to assure consumers continued commitment to formulate their products with only the highest quality ingredients without compromise to any of their products.

Flea Prevention Tips
Here are a few flea prevention tips courtesy of Wholsome Pet.
- Help prevent fleas indoors by vacuuming your home thoroughly and frequently, paying close attention to corners, cracks, crevices and basements. Dispose of vacuum cleaner bags conscientiously, as adult fleas can escape. Also, choose your pet's friends wisely; avoid animals you suspect may carry fleas. Dog parks are fun, but a move-able feast for fleas!
- Wash pet bedding in hot, soapy water weekly; this is the most likely site for flea eggs and larvae.
- Prune foliage and keep grass trimmed short to increase sunlight, as flea larvae cannot survive in hot, dry areas. Remove any piles of yard debris close to your home.
